Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is an official residence of the Queen and the largest occupied castle in the world. Queen's and King's have lived there for over 900 years, the castle remains a working palace today. On this trip I almost had my first arrest of one of the people on my tours!!! He decided to bring an 8 inch buck knife with him and since the Queen was actually there we had to go through a metal detector and the law in UK is a 3 inch knife is illegal... they wanted to arrest him and everything but he explained this was his first time off base!! Thank goodness because they would have arrested him and they normal do they ended up just taking his knife!!!
Some fun little note for you this guard that is guarding this post last week (not this person) a women was at post and was leaning up against the box (which they are not even a loud to lean up against the box at all) and feel a sleep a report happened to be there and took a picture it was posted all over the web... this is the first time in history women are actually guarding the castle... Good Job!! Also a little note for you if you it is too crowed in London to see the changing of the guard they have the same thing here but just at a smaller scale it is at 11:00 if you ever want to see it but we missed it! O well!!!
Also part of the castle they have a Doll house that was a gift to Queen Mary... it is the coolest Doll house ever and everything in it is real like running water, real wine in the bottles, working cars and electricity just to list a few... but when we were waiting to go in these guards walked by and we took pictures (since we couldn't take picture inside the doll house)... there hats were made of real fur... I asked them were they got it at and what it was made out of they just ignored me!!

Josh wanted to be cool and kiss this women guard but he didn't get very close she probably would have taken his head off with that knife!! But to the right of the guard is St. George's chapel full of past Kings and Queens of England... the Queen's father was buried there also... I actually stood over King Henry VIII's tomb it was Awesome!!! It was a great time and another wonderful free trip by ITT!!!
