Josh's first military trip

Well hey everyone this is my first time writing in this blog so bare with me... I went to wales for the weekend to pick-up some shipments from overseas. It was about a four hour drive on the way down. We got lost in this small town its about two city blocks and it took us another four hours to find our hotel . This is an old castle in the middle of town it looked cool so I took picture. There in wales they speak another Language and all the signs looked like they had huge spelling errors, It was kinda cool. I know this is a random picture but let me explain, So before we left for Wales the briefer gave us of idea of where to park and what to go see in Wales. First he told us to go to this building and behind it we would find free praking, then we could walk up the street to the Hard Rock, get some good picture and then for everyone else (except me of course) get some "drinks". So after we went to the hotel and cleaned up a little bit , I jumped into the the extra long cargo van ( I drove since I choose to stay sober) we headed towards the free parking building, well we found this building and I turned into the driveway of the building and found that there were road blocks in the way, so I had to back into a busy street to find another place to park. We stopped at a gas station to ask where the Hard Rock was and nobody had any idea. So we found this little parking spot, and I mean little there was maybe 1/4 inch clearance and I took up two spots but at least it was free. We talked to a shop keeper and she told us that Hard Rock no longer exists, so one of the guys with us suggested that we go to Senor Frogs' but as you can see this place was also closed down too.
These are some of the guy that I went with. I wanted a picture of the back ground and they jumped in. It was cool though....
This is the background I wanted in the picture, These are the only thing lit up in the whole city. The white thing is this bridge and the architecture was amazing I wish I could of got a day picture of it.

This is the dock we went to the next morning. It took about 9 full size trailers to get everything back to Lakenheath, I left at about 0845 and got home at 1600, it was a long truck ride. This ends my wonderful journey, Recommendation: City was pretty dirty , some of the people were too, the restaurant the we went to was killer Italian, it was a little expensive but I'd go there again just to eat there. I think it would be a good one day trip.

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is an official residence of the Queen and the largest occupied castle in the world. Queen's and King's have lived there for over 900 years, the castle remains a working palace today. On this trip I almost had my first arrest of one of the people on my tours!!! He decided to bring an 8 inch buck knife with him and since the Queen was actually there we had to go through a metal detector and the law in UK is a 3 inch knife is illegal... they wanted to arrest him and everything but he explained this was his first time off base!! Thank goodness because they would have arrested him and they normal do they ended up just taking his knife!!!
Some fun little note for you this guard that is guarding this post last week (not this person) a women was at post and was leaning up against the box (which they are not even a loud to lean up against the box at all) and feel a sleep a report happened to be there and took a picture it was posted all over the web... this is the first time in history women are actually guarding the castle... Good Job!! Also a little note for you if you it is too crowed in London to see the changing of the guard they have the same thing here but just at a smaller scale it is at 11:00 if you ever want to see it but we missed it! O well!!!
Also part of the castle they have a Doll house that was a gift to Queen Mary... it is the coolest Doll house ever and everything in it is real like running water, real wine in the bottles, working cars and electricity just to list a few... but when we were waiting to go in these guards walked by and we took pictures (since we couldn't take picture inside the doll house)... there hats were made of real fur... I asked them were they got it at and what it was made out of they just ignored me!!

Josh wanted to be cool and kiss this women guard but he didn't get very close she probably would have taken his head off with that knife!! But to the right of the guard is St. George's chapel full of past Kings and Queens of England... the Queen's father was buried there also... I actually stood over King Henry VIII's tomb it was Awesome!!! It was a great time and another wonderful free trip by ITT!!!

Easter/BBQ

Well... Our Easter this year was spent at home with a bunch of Air Force workers and friends!!! We decided to have a BBQ for everyone in Josh's shop and some friends around the neighborhood!! It was a great time, I didn't think over 30 people would show up but I cooked a cheesecake amongst other stuff but my cheesecake just turned out so good!!! None of my food was left that I made (It better not have been any left overs I started cooking at 9:00 the night before) but Josh had a great time cooking on our new grill!!! We had a blast and had a good Easter as best as we could without family!!!

WICKED...

Yes another ITT Tour trip for Ang as the Tour escort!!! This time to London on your own... since I Love New York City more than London... sorry for all those London Lovers out there... New York City is just bigger!!! Josh and I went and saw the new Broadway Show Wicked!!! It was wickedly BRILLIANT!!! I LOVED IT!!! It was kinda funny listening to them in there little British and Irish accents it was cute!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!! I highly recommend this show to all those that like musicals!!! I like this story way better than the Wizard of Oz (It is a Love story that Is why I liked it so much)
We couldn't really take pictures of the inside so we got some outside pictures...
The cool part about the Apollo Victoria theater (since I purchased the tickets two weeks before the show date and it was sold out) They had Binoculars for sale for .50 pence! So we were able to see the whole thing a little closer but we had a great view of the whole stage!!! Even if our seats sucked the show was great!!!!!
