Venice

When we arrived in Venice we hopped on the boat and went to our hotel room so we could put down our bags... but when we got to the hotel they informed us that the bathroom had been flooded and we couldn't stay there anymore but they were going to put us in a nice hotel that was right next to St. Marks Square where you want to stay anyways!! So we were excited but nervous to go when we arrived they put us in this amazing room!!

The fist floor had a big bed and a sitting area with a fireplace!!
The second floor part of it had glass flooring had two smaller beds to sleep in and a desk!! We didn't use it at all but it was really cool looking.
Sorry, this is the massive fireplace that I didn't focus very well but it was great even though we didn't need it!!
Our bathroom had a jacuzzi tub that was so awesome!!!!
Also had the wonderful Italian toilet and regular toilet we used the Italian one to fill up our water bottles!!! HAHA JUST KIDDING!! But made you think twice!!!
The Cool part of Venice is there is no cars in the area so we had to get everywhere by foot or boat!! It was so neat!!! So this is me excited about going to Murano where they make the Venetian glass that they are famous for!! One of the many things Venice is famous for it is really cool to go and see and you can get necklaces and big rings!! I Loved it!!
When you enter the island you can go to the museum and factory where they make the glass... this guy had the biggest arms I had ever seen and he is probably older than my dad!! It was cool!! You can see how they make the glass on our video and hear their accent that I can not understand!! I wish they had subtitles even though they could speak English I couldn't really understand them!!
The Venetians believe that they have an amazing water system and there water is so good!! I think it is a natural spring but water is running from this fountain and you can go and fill up water bottles and drink whenever you want... you see old women filling up big gallons of this water to store for themselves. I didn't want to drink out of it but I dared Josh... sick!!
This is part of Murano where you can go to ever store and look at the glass that they sell... they have really inexpensive stuff in one store and in the other it is really expensive. But non the less it is so beautiful I wanted to buy it all but couldn't maybe next time!!
This is the final bridge to our hotel room and the view was so breathtaking!!!
We decided to go and see a play that they put on about Venice and it's history. On the way to the event we had to take a picture of this little side street!! It was like we were on a movie set or something just was so magical and not real looking!! Funny story... so the hotel had told us about this awesome play about Venice's history and we have to see it. We booked to see it and have dinner before we watched the show. They told us the food was so good etc... We get there and It was like releasing the hounds for feeding we all are running into the venue to go and find a place to sit which had seating for maybe 6 people of like 70 people so we manage to get a seat. I had to watch this seat like it was life or death because these two women were giving me the dirtiest look wanting our seat it was too funny!! Then Josh gets food and comes back, I am like that is great starters to eat I am excited for the real food... well that was the real food BBQ wings with rosemary and some nasty pizza!! It was too funny! So we are laughing so hard while these ladies are still staring at us. Then the cast comes out to poke fun of us I am sure to rub in our faces thinking these morons actually paid us to get in... Then the play is about to start we walk in and get our seats which is like buckets seats that fit 4 people and I was thinking I can be stuffed like a sardine I am going to pass out but we manage to get our own bucket. We were being optimistic thinking it has to get better. Well, they didn't speak good English so we couldn't understand them and it was mainly about having relationships with more than one person no matter if they smelled and looked really bad!! So not a place for us at all!! When it was done we ran out of there so fast we would have left sooner but they had us locked in the room trust me I tried!!! But other than that Venice is an AMAZING CITY!! I suggest if you only can go to one place in Europe it would be Venice!!!

Venice

Our Second day we went to museums and Churches... you could purchase a pass that let into a lot of the museums and churches the bell tower was not included but we were glad we did it... St.Marks square is the hub of everything we started our day out there!!
Us on top of the bell tower it had an amazing view that Josh looked at and I peeked over at!!
Part of the view...
Okay so normally there is a massive line to get up to the top and we thought hey there is a short line lets go!! Not thinking to look at the clock... well guess what it was that time for the bell to ring!! It was so loud!!! It didn't seem to bother Josh but dang it killed my ears!! You can hear it ring at the bottom of the page!!
Once again a stupid American thinking it is funny stick your hand in a mouth when in fact this is the part where you write a note and place inside of her mouth because you had to gossip about someone!! Good Idea... then I wouldn't have to repent so much about gossiping, LOL!!!

One of the many palaces of Venice had this really cool water fountain out front with really big goldfish that Josh was going to pick up but didn't!! No Sushi for you!!
Just to show you a cool little side street that you can get lost down!! Which is the fun part of Venice just let the streets take you and follow them you always end back at St. Marks Square!!
We had purchased a mask but this isn't one this is the Casanova mask Josh thought he could try it on for size but as you see doesn't fit him at all!! He is only a ladies man to one person!! Sorry!!
Our next little adventure by the Rialto bridge that has awesome shopping for a little island that has all its stuff imported it sure had great shopping!! I LOVED IT!!! But we took our Gondola ride down here because I just couldn't walk anymore!!
Our boat I had to admit was the coolest!! The Gondolier man told us his is the most decorated and one of the older Gondolas out there... I thought he was just trying to get our money but compared to some of the other ones it was Very Pretty and well decorated!!
Just to show you the path he took us down So Beautiful!! You can see the little Gondola sign showing to go this way!! But boat taxis went down the same way we did!! So I don't think it was just Gondola's that could go down here!!
Just to show you yes the water we were taking the ride on gets its sewage emptied!! Sick huh??? That one was a smelly pipe let me tell ya!! SICK!!! I suggest going the time we did because the Grand Canal was not smelly but the sides streets had a little smell not to bad!!
Well that was the end of our Awesome ride!!! You need to does this!!! No matter the cost but remember to talk them down a lot!!
We had a chance to eat at a restaurant right beside the grand canal which was so awesome and beautiful!! I had an amazing Lobster and Josh had a seafood pasta!! SO GOOD!!!
Finally to end our day we listened to Music by St. Marks Square and drank a very expensive soda but worth it all because of the great atmosphere and beautiful music!! What a great way to end a perfect day!!!

Venice

Our Final day we were so tired after a wonderful short break that we looked like zombies for Breakfast! Plus it was supper bright outside!!

Since we had scene the inside of Venice we took a little trip around Venice and got to see where the cruise ships harbor at it was really cool oh and see cars actually driving in the area because there are no cars at all just boats in Venice!!! We also checked out the Jewish Ghetto which was net!! A lot of Jews were persecuted and forced to live in this one part of Venice and they are still there Today!! Josh had enjoyed a wonderful Venation style food that you can see down further (sorry having some problems with the blog) ... you can see black stuff on his lips well he had eaten squid that they cooked in the black ink that the squid gives off!! He said it was different!! His tongue was black for a while!! But thus ends our amazing adventure in Venice!! THE BEST CITY I THINK SO FAR IN EUROPE!!!!

Pennsylvania

HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY DAD!!! I have the best Dad in the whole world since Josh was gone I took a hop over to celebrate the birth of the Best Man born, since Josh of course. It was so nice seeing my family and seeing the most beautiful nieces in the whole world and of course the amazing brothers and beautiful sisters in laws who had them!! They all are so beautiful!!! Even one of them has started modeling for Aeropostal!! I am one lucky person to have such a loving family!! And not to mention the best Father in the whole world!! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful father!! I see the horrible fathers in the world and only wish that that they could spend just one day under my fathers wing to see what a great amazing father truly is!! Not to mention I also have the most Amazing Mother in the whole world and she is Beautiful too!! So over all I have the best family and the best husband!! How did I get so lucky!! But I guess luck was something I was lacking a little bit while Josh was gone!!! We had someone that worked for the military installation steal $300 from us and then I went on vacation with who I thought was a friend and she ended up stealing $150 from us!! I don't understand people!! But I guess it is because they didn't have amazing parents to direct them in the right way! I think the biggest shock was that a friend stole money from me and she has a child she is raising!! O well... So anyways now that is off my chest!! As part of seeing my Dad we went around the local area and took pictures of Beautiful Pennsylvania... that was a lot of fun!! The picture above is an area around my parents house!! BEAUTIFUL!!!So funny story this is how back country we are... there is a used car lot right by my parents house... but the funny thing is there is no cars just this tractor but if you worried that one would sell out don't worry they have two of them!! HOW FUNNY!!!!
Then while we were waiting to get our tire fixed or since I am in England our tyre fixed they had stuffed animals in the walk way!! But don't worry the guy would be glad to give them to you if you wanted them!! (Sorry bad picture of me)

This flower was in parents back yard or as the British call it there garden... It was so pretty I had to take a picture!! Also a country visit would not be complete without seeing a covered bridge or Chickens and Rooster!! Even though trying to get a good picture of the Chickens and Rooster were so hard I managed to squeeze in a good picture!!! So the fun adventures of Ang by herself and Josh by himself have come to an end!! YES!!! FINALLY!!

Update from the Stan

Well hello everyone! It's been a bit since I have put any pictures up, I thought I'd start with this one...... And yes that is the right temperature, I would guess about 6 out of the 7 days of work it gets about this hot. But anything after 100 degrees feels about the same. To supplement the heat I drink between 5 to 8 liters of water a day.

This was the first cloud that I had seen in nearly 2 months, you know a real cloud, not a dust cloud.......... And then it rained yesterday Saturday the 26th for 2 hours straight, we played Frisbee and just stood in the rain the whole time, I think the Temp. dropped to 78 degrees, it was kinda cold!

This is what happens to 30mm rounds when an A-10 gun jams, I know that is bad but it really tore up those rounds, cool huh.

Well I made this Campbell soup can on a board, to leave behind so people would know how was in Afghanistan, But they took the board down, because the other shift couldn't keep it free of profanity, So I cut it out and will be sending it home, I took alot of hard work to do, plus all the guys from work that helped out......

I got dared to put as many sunflower seeds in my mouth at once, I put half a large bag in my mouth.

Ever wonder what it looks like with 62 pieces of bubble gum in your mouth, Well me and Risk were trying to see how could put more gum in their mouth. We stopped at 53, and then he decieded to keep going, I couldnt let him win so when he got 60 in his mouth i pushed 2 more. In bubble gum there is 20 calories per piece and 5 grams of sugar. I had my calorie intake in just that sitting. My stomach really hated me after wards.......This is what we do to keep our Morale up, out here, hahaha

well these are the new AF bombs, not only do they weigh 1/3 of the old ones but you can see by me laying down next to one how small they are. if you are curious about them look up SDB bomb on goggle.

Well everyone thanks for your support, thanks for the packages of beef jerky mom and dad cooper, And you Ang for the bright green flip flops..... I love you and miss you ....... Oh and David sunflower seeds/ Double Bubble chewing gum for keeping our moral up. See you later
