The Stan

Well hi everyone, Its josh and I just wanted to put up some pics so everyone can see the place im in. Just to let you know that the only storms I see out here are sand storms.....Im doing great, besides the fact that Im not with Ang, that is the worse part about this place, but other then that Im pretty safe out here. Well here are some pictures that i have been taking, enjoy....
This Beautiful Afghanistan it hot and the sand is nasty but this is where im at.......

this was the other day we built 24 GBU-12 bombs you bad guys better start running....... yes and because im in AMMO We build everything for the planes, so they can shoot or blow up the bad guys. I almost lost my finger right at the knuckle, i was setting bombs on trailers and the fin rotated pinching my hand against another bomb. I the guy that was operating the equipment said he felt like he needed to stop the crane for some reason, so he did.... I guess the Lord is really looking out me, while Im here.

This is yesterday, and that is the sun, you could look right at it, it was like looking at the moon, This was probley the worse sand storm I have ever seen, it felt like you were breathing through a straw. I know the pic is kind of crappy but thats me in uniform...

Prom

Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think that I would be going to Prom at age 25 and my date being a mid 30 year old women!!! It was so much fun!!! I would not have put these pictures up at all to save the embarrassment of myself all dressed up but Josh and my Mom wanted to see what I looked like for my hot date with Amy!! I had some updo's before Prom started so I only had maybe 20 minutes to get ready!! I got ready at my friend Val's house and her adorable son wanted to get a picture with me and since I hate taking pictures It was a nice little break!!
I look so dorky in this picture but I had taken it for Josh!! I was so uncomfortable so sorry for the weirdness of the picture usually Josh is standing in the picture and he is so Handsome that it covers my ugliness up but I did this for The hottest man alive so he could see his wife somewhat dressed up for the night!!

This may not be a great picture because my scanner wasn't working very well but this is a picture of some of my soccer girls dressed up at Prom!! They all looked so beautiful and they wanted me in the picture so It made me so proud to have it!! I wanted to share it with everyone!! Well Hope you enjoyed my Prom!! It was so fun and I learned the what it means to "drop it like it's hot" I hope I said that right!! LOL!!! More like Amy showed me what it means I just stood there while she showed me!! Fun times!!! It was so much fun!!!

Talent Show

Every year the High School puts together a talent show and I end up doing the hair and make-up for the night!! It is so much fun and the Children are great!! This year one of the students performed to Sweeney Todd I think he did a much better job than Johnny Depp but who is counting!! He was awesome though and I got to do his make-up and hair... I even colored his little white strip!!!
Since these pictures are from his Mom's camera there are a lot pictures of him... but this girl did a performance of a 50's styled women you can't see her hair very well and her make-up got a little messed up because this was at the end of the performances and we had to clean up. But she looked really good, but it does help that she is really pretty to begin with.
Justin did such a good job and he was so good at making you believe he was the character he didn't step out of character for one second... this was intermition and he was still going around trying to kill people and asking them for a shave!! So Funny!!!

The girl in this photo was Justin's sining partner she has such funky hair but it was so much fun putting it up!! She looked so good... she ended up keeping in for Prom the next day!! I did about 20 students hair and make-up!! I love doing it and the students really enjoy it!!
This was from last years talent show Justin had been the guy Jack from The nightmare before Christmas!! He always has such fun roles that require a lot of make-up work and coloring of the hair but this picture was taken at the end end of the performance at his home so it looks a little faded!! It was so much fun... it pays to be best friends with the drama teacher!!

Europeans

This year has been crazy fun!!! We have had so many wonderful opportunity's and have been blessed to be part of such a wonderful experience!! This year since I work for the High School as a sub they gave me the job of being the Assitant Soccer coach for the high school because I played in college!!! What an experiance that was!!! I had the best time ever!!! It was great!! We got to go to Brussels for some games I got paid for it all and then we had the chance to go to German for Europeans where all military schools in Europe compete with each other for the All Europeans soccer team winners!! My girls did awesome and really made it hard for those other teams to compete against them!! They did so great!! I had the best time!! Unfortunately we had to drive there so it was a 12 hour bus ride by Coach!! I was up the first night almost 24 hours!! I don't have a lot of pictures of them because I was mostly coaching and didn't have enough time to take pictures but they did AWESOME!!!
Before our last game they decided to have a little fun before they had to start warming up so they tried to build pyramids... bless their little hearts!! But it was so fun!! Our last game they played Awesome and decided to dump water on each other and gave me a little taste of the action!!
After our last game we went to Chili's it is the busiest Chili's in the world!! It almost took 2 hours to get a seat and they don't take reservations (that was on a Thursday night)!!!
Needless to say they all made me feel like a teenager again... this poor child in the background had a horrible unibrow so I made one of my cute girls stand in the picture so I could get his picture!! Sorry to the boy in the picture but we had to take it!! My girls were so much fun on there last night also some of them decided to go streaking through an open meadow in Germany!! I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard!! They also taught me the cupid shuffle which is a great work out... you should learn it to it is fun to do and is a new line dance to learn(even though it has been around for a while)! It was a great experience and I was so blessed to be part of each of their lives for this short time!! I am so doing this next year!! They have already asked me to go back next year and be the Coach again!! It really helped me out since Josh has been deployed in Afghanistan!! I miss him tons!!!!
